New-construction condominiums have plenty of benefits, but unique style isn’t typically one of them. When Jessica Schuster was tapped by a Bahamian real-estate insider who wanted to put his stamp on a Meatpacking District apartment, she hit the ground running. “I had proposed doing some major construction to open up the space, but ultimately we didn’t go in that direction because my client wanted to move in quickly,” she says. Instead, she focused on unique finishes, furnishings, and lighting ideas to give the home a more thoughtful, considered aesthetic.
